Coolamon is situated within the
Riverina Region of New South Wales.
This quaint township has changed little since its inception. Its appeal lies
in its sleepy and relaxed atmosphere, broad streetscapes and historic wrought
iron verandahs.
History
The town of Coolamon
was established about the time the railway arrived in 1881, although wheat had
been cultivated in the area since 1850.
